Abstract

Most information is delivered by visual and auditory. This makes uncomfortable situation to deaf and blind people and also cannot satisfy the user who want to represents various expressions. For that reason, we suggest a framework to represent the color information via vibrotactile feedback, and eventually to represent images using vibrotactile and force feedback. This research shows the method that makes vibration from color. To this end, transformation from a color to an expression is made, and the expression is turned into a vibrotactile e ect. To see the social acceptance of our idea, we did the user study with actual participants.
