Abstract

Delivery by drones is required to overcome some technical challenges. Probably, the most difficult one is unmanned autonomous flight of drones. The drone also need a way to carry a package during its flight and it may require some robust mechanical parts. In this paper, some seniors with mechatronics engineering background present an unmanned autonomous drone, which can carry a package to a delivery point recognized from a pre-scanned QR code. In the experiment, unmanned flight after reading the QR code was successful as planned. However, the drone could not carry a package since the additional weight from the package caused instability of its flight.
